A great time smashing grapes with your feet
Festivities will begin at 11:00 a.m. Every fifteen minutes, a new set of 4 stompers will step into our loaded barrels to see how much juice they can push out of the provided grapes. At the end of the day, the person with the most juice will be crowned the Grape Stomp champion, receiving a free bottle of Wichmann Vineyard wine and a set of wine glasses. There will also be a kids’ division and a Lucille Look-alike Contest. The Lucille contest winner will also receive a free bottle of wine and a set of wine glasses!
Children under the age of 12 can stomp for $5 and will receive a participation medal designed specifically for this year’s event. Ticket sales will be limited and may not be available day of event, so order yours soon!
Event Details:
Gates open at 11am and sign up for stomping time slots begins. First come first serve for sign up. Stomping will be 11:30 - 4:00 with a break in the middle. *Please be near the stomping area at your stomp time
We will take a break from stomping and begin our Lucille look-alike contest at 1:15pm.
Every ticket holder will be provided a wristband at the gate which will allow them to go in and out of the flagged festival area. You will need to make sure you have your wristband on to receive the glass of wine included with ticket purchase (for 21+). *Please return your glass in one of the provided bus tubs upon departure from the festival.
We encourage you to bring lawn/camp chairs or blankets for the event. Very limited seating provided.
Outside alcohol is not permitted.
